Graduate Futures Internship Scheme continues to offer support to Northumbria graduates in 2022

Are you looking for a new graduate opportunity in 2022? YES? Then there is still time to take advantage of the Northumbria Enterprise and Business Support Scheme (NEBS2), the paid Internship Scheme part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The scheme is open to all Northumbria University graduates across all degree subjects.

NEBS2 is delivered by Graduate Futures and provides funding to small and medium sized businesses, in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland to employ a graduate on a full-time internship of up to six months. Internships offer a minimum pro rata salary of £18,000 per annum and many lead to longer-term or permanent employment. Of the 150 graduates that benefited from the previous internship scheme in 2018, an impressive 81% were retained by the businesses.

Since the launch of the current scheme in March 2021, 54 graduates have benefited from the current programme. NEBS2 will run until 2023 so there will be lots of graduate opportunities across a range of businesses and sectors over the coming weeks.
